Arrest Made In Ibarra Murder Case

There's good news to report on a trans murder case that transpired in the LA area almost a year ago.

The LAPD announced yesterday they have arrested a suspect in the murder of Paulina Ibarra.

The 27 year old Ibarra was found stabbed to death multiple times on the floor of her east Hollywood apartment around 8 PM PDT back on August 28, 2009.

The case has been investigated as a possible hate crime, and leads from the LA trans community and neighborhood people led to the arrest of 24 year old Jesus Catalan.

LAPD officials say Catalan is responsible for Ibarra's murder. They will have a press conference with further details of the case later this morning.

Now that they have finally captured the waste of DNA who allegedly committed the crime, let's hope and pray for the sake of Paulina's family and friends that justice prevails.
